Thanks to all our intrepid (and long-suffering) ukists.
2016 has been a wonderfully successful year.
The 'glee party' feel has been within ALL our gigs
whether they be scheduled jam sessions at our splendid hostelries
(at Studham and Wingrave),
the LotSU gigs (and the 'After Dark ones c/o Barry)
or the gigs we've done supporting charities other than our own.
For Kingfishers this year we raised over £1650.
(which is marvellous when you consider that three gigs we did were for other charities and three others were 'unpaid' - because finance isn't our prime concern).
As Connor & Finn (Keith's grandsons) make use of the Kingfisher respite facility he is suitably humbled by your support.
Sadly not all of our players have had the best of years healthwise (including our boss Stephen) and our best wishes for a more healthy 2017 go to them all (they know who they are). But our thoughts are especially for John Petrie who is currently in hospital and we wish him a speedy recovery.
We have had the lead voices of several folk throughout the year - notably: Jim, Gerry, and Nick
so thank you to them
and to the frequent influx of various members of the Buzzstables which added some 'youth' to our wisdom.
