Well done LotSU
2023 Year end results:
£1,560 raised for Hospice at Home Volunteers.
A total of 18 gigs (including a number of charity gigs at festivals supporting other causes).
48 jam sessions in sundry pubs (special thanks to The Anchor for providing hospitality when other venues let us down).

August has been a 'quiet' month, due to holidays, but we have/are continuing with our jam sessions every Wednesday from noon until 3.00pm.

On 16th May LotSU supported Morrisons (Houghton Regis) in their 'Dementia Week' project. A dozen of us played up a storm in their cafe area for over an hour. A good number of people sat through the whole set and shoppers were most appreciative of our contribution to their 'shopping experience'.
We did have one complaint - a lady had listened for 45mins and came over to say she had to go home and couldn't put off leaving any longer ! Morrisons 'charity champion' put a bucket out for the appeal and, despite it requiring some effort to find and donate, the bucket had 117pounds in it at the end.
